About Writing

I am an artist. A sculptor. A painter. A writer. I enjoy translating how I see life into new mediums, trying to add a glimpse into the eternal that each moment allows us.

Poetry is my preferred writing form for glimpses into this eternal world. It is "jet fuel." Condensed and volatile. Each word is the perfect word for the poem. No room exists for extraneous verbiage. It incorporates rhythm, sounds, and images to extend beyond the page to infinity.

Autobiography is the most important artform. It is our stories, who we are: comedians, politicians, saviors, etc. The autobiography tells our story, in our words. The artform has existed for a over two millenia. It spans disparate personalities such as Sappho, St. Augustine, and David Sedaris.

The Blog is a nascent artform, currently leveraged by many politically conscience individuals who hope to raise issues that would never surface through the main stream media. My Blog does not currently have the gravitas of the muckrakers, yet it is still young. My Blog may also feature additional writers beside myself.
